I never post on Tumblr, so I’m hoping my few followers can help me get this word out by reblogging…
I work for a hotel that hosts a major US con every year. I love anime and I go to cons myself, but I am going to be blunt about some of the problems we have and how we deal with them. I don’t…
I am usually opposed to reblogging (I want my page to contain my content… I like a ton of stuff though.) However, this struck close to home. If you ever plan on attending a con, please read this and remember these three words that have saved my life -
“DON’T BE STUPID.”
Thank you.
Check out my tweaked desktop that I submitted to the Lifehacker desktop showcase. :)
Not cosplay, but I thought I would share anyways. Here is our happy little family at the 2013 Matsuri in Phoenix, AZ. (The yukatas are all homemade.)
Bolin feeding Baby Tooth. Hey, weirder things have happened…
I know you've probably got a whole list of cosplays lined up already (not to mention being busy with the baby and all) but I wanted to suggest a cosplay of Fili the dwarf in the future because I've just noticed how much you look like Dean O'Gorman and you'd be amazing :D
Haha! I see the resemblance. I never considered doing a Hobbit cosplay before, but I will put it on my list. :D
I respect you, as a man, a grown man, who cosplays. People think cosplay is for nerdy teenagers, but you are one of the people who proves them wrong. I applaud you. Also, your daughter is so CUTE! <3
Thank you!!! Adult cosplayers tend to get labeled as aloof social misfits too, but I’ve never let that get to me. It is so much fun!
Your baby is absolutely adorable! :)

Thanks! :D
Say hello to my daughter Faye!
She was born on December 4, 2012, and made her cosplay debut today as ‘Baby Tooth’ from “Rise of the Guardians” at Taiyou-Con in Mesa, Arizona.
(She was very popular, and she met some familiar friends!)
